Job Description

“Transformation Consultant for Insurance processes, leveraging re-engineering, system interventions, benchmarking, analytics, among others”

Role:   Insurance F&A Transformation Consultant

  • Sound exposure in Management Consulting for Insurance processes
  • Has driven projects in insurance Transformation side and is able to drive significant Transformation projects and able to connect with Clients at a Sr. Level
  • Interaction with clients on transformation/re-engineering initiatives throughout the project life-cycle, from identification, implementation, to sign off on Value Delivery
  • Responsible for driving Transformation projects for select Accounts.
  • Creation of diagnostic toolkit for all insurance processes
  • Perform diagnostic for existing and new processes
  • Work with business leaders to identify and execute transformation opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging solutions and the potential application on operations
  • Drive enterprise adoption of these tools/techniques by internal and client showcasing and articulating the business case and value proposition
  • Act as business interface for business process automation and analytics opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging solutions and the potential application on operations


Acting Subject Matter Expertise (SME) / Consultant

a.     Exposure in performing Internal and External Industry Benchmarking.

b.     Act as domain SME to design solutions for prospects and demonstrate knowledge of P&C insurance

c.     Active participation in client visits

d.     Cross pollination of best practices in insurance by interfacing with operations leads and process /business excellence teams


Candidate Profile

1.    8+ years of experience in insurance services or F&A out of which at least 2-4 years Management consulting experience around strategic cost reduction, re-engineering, shared services design, outsourcing advisory, business-technology consulting and benchmarking studies

2.     Consulting expertise preferably  from Deloitte, Accenture, EY, Everest, Monitor, Gartner and Corporate Executive Board (CEB);

3.    Consulting experience in F&A process, in our chosen industries – Insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, TTL, Retail – is a big plus

4.    Excellent education pedigree  -UG degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Maths/statistics and sciences from top colleges with good academic performance and MBA from any one the leading institutes – IIMs, FMS, XLRI, IMT Ghaziabad, ISB, JBIMS and IIT.

5.     Experience of packaging and showcasing capabilities and solutions, especially to senior business leaders

6.     Evidence of problem solving analytical mindset and comfort with business ambiguity

7.     Excellent oral communication and presentation skills

8.     Superior written communication skills

9.     End to end view of the insurance tower

10.  Exposure to diagnostic and system/tool/platform deployment in the P2P / R2R Towers

11.  Exposure to technology – ERPs,
